Meet Maya

My family loves golden retrievers but figured we wouldn’t get one until life slowed down. Yeah, right. Well, Rian persisted in begging for one and we finally broke down and brought home a 7-week old English Cream Golden Retriever on May 23rd! Maya is now 6 months old and is all of the hard work that we anticipated she would be but also all the joy and love! We had no idea how quickly she would grow! She was only 8 lbs when we brought her home and 4 months later, she’s about 40 lbs! She’s in her wild, playful stage where she is just beside herself when she sees you and just wants to jump on you and hug you. She’ll never refuse a belly rub or being stopped to be petted by new acquaintances when we go for a walk. She just gets prettier and more regal as she grows. We love her dearly!
